First Semifinal: Sanskardhani to Face Nyaydhan
Raipur, October 2026: Bailadila Bulls produced an outstanding performance in their final league match, defeating Chakradhar Champions 6-2 to secure a place in the semifinals of the tournament. The Bulls needed a victory to qualify for the knockout stage and delivered when it mattered most.
The result also confirmed Sanskardhani Strikers' qualification for the semifinals. Top qualifiers Nyaydhan Knights will face Sanskardhani on October 31 at 5:30 pm, while Bailadila Bulls will take on Mainpat Titans in the second semifinal at 7:30 pm.
For Chinglensana Singh's Bailadila Bulls, the match was a must-win encounter, and the team responded with an impressive display. Anand opened the scoring in the very first minute with a reverse flick that found the back of the net, immediately setting the tone for the contest.
The Bulls showed tremendous determination, particularly after their defeat in the opening match. One of the crucial moments of the first quarter came when Daleshwar Yadav saved a penalty stroke taken by Yuvraj Walmiki, denying the Champions an opportunity to equalise.
The Bulls capitalised on their chances as Jaskaran Singh scored his seventh goal of the league to make it 2-0. A few minutes later, he converted a penalty corner to extend the lead.
Jaskaran continued his impressive performance in the third quarter, scoring his fourth goal of the match through another penalty corner. Anand added to the tally after beating several Chakradhar defenders, while Gopal scored from a penalty corner rebound. The goal took the Bulls' goal difference to +2 and confirmed their semifinal qualification.
It was a disappointing outing for Chakradhar Champions. Although S.V. Sunil created opportunities, the team lacked coordination in the forward line. Despite producing some excellent passes inside the circle, there were few players available to convert them into goals.
Khogeshwar Bag managed to score in the second quarter, while Walmiki added another with a reverse hit towards the end of the final quarter. However, the two goals were insufficient to keep Chakradhar's semifinal hopes alive. Apart from these efforts, the Champions struggled to make meaningful entries into the opposition circle.
Sanskardhani Strikers Beat Mainpat Titans 4-0
Sanskardhani Strikers, led by Shamsher, ended their league campaign on a high by defeating the formidable Mainpat Titans 4-0. Although their semifinal qualification depended partly on the outcome of the Bailadila Bulls-Chakradhar Champions match, the Strikers did their job convincingly.
Ashish Tani Purti was the star of the match, scoring a hat-trick and taking his tournament tally to 12 goals. The victory helped Sanskardhani maintain a goal difference of +2 and strengthened their chances of reaching the knockout stage.
The Strikers began cautiously against the Titans, who had one of the strongest defensive units in the competition. Before the 14th league match, Mainpat had conceded just seven goals.
However, Ashish broke the deadlock early in the second quarter with a powerful drag-flick that beat goalkeeper Pradeep Mor. Sanskardhani created a few more opportunities but could not convert them, maintaining a 1-0 advantage.
Ashish struck again in the third quarter, converting another penalty corner to extend his team's lead. The Titans' defence had little opportunity to prevent the powerful effort.
In the closing moments, Sanskardhani added a field goal to complete the 4-0 victory. Shahrukh provided the pass, which Om Kumar Yadav converted into a goal.
