CM Says PM’s 25-Year Journey Dedicated to Service and Nation-Building Is an Inspiration
Raipur, September 2026: Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai on Thursday lit the ‘Aashirwad Ka Diya’ at his residence on the occasion of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s birthday and extended his wishes for the Prime Minister’s healthy, long and successful life.
Remembering Prime Minister Modi’s commitment to national service and public welfare, Chief Minister Sai conveyed his greetings and good wishes on the occasion.
The Chief Minister said Prime Minister Narendra Modi had dedicated 25 years of his public life to the service of the nation and its people. From welfare of the poor and good governance to Antyodaya, Aatmanirbhar Bharat, respect for India’s heritage and the building of a modern India, he said, the Prime Minister’s journey has been a source of inspiration for citizens.
Sai said that on the Prime Minister’s birthday, an atmosphere of service and public participation could be seen across the country, including Chhattisgarh. He described the ‘Aashirwad Ka Diya’ initiative as an expression of this sentiment.
The Chief Minister said the small lamp symbolised the affection, trust and good wishes of the people of Chhattisgarh towards Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
He further said that under Prime Minister Modi’s guidance, Chhattisgarh was playing its role with full commitment in the building of a developed India.
“Our resolve is that the light of development should reach the last person in the state, and the aspirations of villages, the poor, farmers, women, youth and tribal communities should become the driving force behind the creation of a developed Chhattisgarh,” the Chief Minister said.
