Patna, Sept 2026: Bihar Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary on Thursday visited the residence of former Chief Minister Nitish Kumar at 7 Circular Road in Patna and held a courtesy meeting with him.
During the meeting, Nitish Kumar handed over a cheque equivalent to his one month’s salary to the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund.
Legislative Council member Lalan Sarraf also donated a cheque equivalent to his one month’s salary to the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund.
During the interaction, Chief Minister Choudhary briefed Nitish Kumar about the flood situation in various parts of the state and the relief and rescue operations being undertaken by the government. The two leaders also discussed the situation and ongoing measures to provide assistance to those affected by the floods.
