Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami unveiled the official logo, website and song for Haridwar Kumbh Mela 2027, with the aim of presenting the religious, spiritual and cultural identity of the event to a wider audience.

These three initiatives mark an important step towards taking the distinctive identity of the Kumbh to people across India and the world, making event-related information available through digital platforms and spreading the message of the festival’s arrival among the public.

At a programme held on Monday in the auditorium of the Mela Control Building (CCR), Chief Minister Dhami launched the official logo, website and song for Kumbh 2027. He said the Kumbh is a grand celebration of India’s ancient spiritual traditions, Sanatan culture and popular faith.

Haridwar Kumbh holds special religious significance for millions of devotees. The state government is committed to organising Kumbh Mela 2027 on a grand and divine scale, he said, adding that all necessary arrangements would be made to ensure the event is safe, well-organised and convenient for visitors.

The Chief Minister said the official logo, website and song would play an important role in presenting the identity of the Kumbh effectively and connecting devotees and the general public with the event.

Official Logo Reflects Haridwar’s Religious and Cultural Heritage

The official logo of Haridwar Kumbh 2027 brings together the city’s religious identity, reverence for the Ganga and distinctive features of the Sanatan tradition. It depicts Maa Ganga, the Har Ki Pauri area, the Dhanush Bridge and the divine beauty of sunrise.

The logo also features a statue of Lord Shiva, sadhus and saints, the trident and damaru associated with the Sanatan tradition, and the hills of Maa Mansa Devi and Maa Chandi Devi.

These symbols reflect Haridwar’s spiritual significance and the cultural heritage of the Kumbh. The logo can be used in promotional material, publications and digital platforms associated with the event. It will help establish a consistent visual identity for the Kumbh and ensure a more organised approach to its publicity and outreach.

To design the logo for Kumbh Mela 2027, the Mela administration had invited entries from young people and students across Uttarakhand. After reviewing hundreds of submissions, the selection committee chose the best design submitted by Madhu Sharma, a resident of Vikas Nagar, Jagjitpur, Haridwar, from among 13 outstanding and original designs. The official logo of Haridwar Kumbh 2027 was finalised on the basis of her design.

Official Website to Provide Easy Access to Kumbh Information

The official website for Kumbh Mela 2027, https://haridwarkumbh.uk.gov.in, will provide authentic information about the event to devotees, visitors and the general public.

Making information available through this digital platform will help disseminate event-related updates in an organised manner and connect devotees living in different parts of India and abroad with the Kumbh.

The website will make information about preparations and the event more accessible while helping present Haridwar’s religious identity to a wider audience.

‘Kumbh Ka Parv Aa Gaya’ Song Captures Faith and Celebration

The launch of the official song for Kumbh Mela 2027 was one of the major highlights of the programme. Beginning with the lines, “Sadhus and saints are filled with joy; the festival of Kumbh has arrived,” the song captures the excitement surrounding the festival, the enthusiasm of sadhus and saints, and the devotion of pilgrims.

The song has been written, sung and composed by Raghav Raja, a singer from Haridwar. It aims to spread the message of the Kumbh’s arrival among the public and strengthen the cultural connection with the event.

Songs and music have long served as powerful mediums for expressing public sentiments during religious celebrations. In this context, the official song is expected to play an important role in conveying the traditions, festive spirit and spiritual atmosphere of the Kumbh to the wider public.

Combining Traditional Grandeur with Modern Communication Platforms

Haridwar Kumbh 2027 presents an important opportunity to showcase Uttarakhand’s spiritual heritage, religious tourism and cultural identity on a wider scale.

The official logo will give the event a distinctive visual identity, the website will facilitate the digital dissemination of information, and the song will express the emotions associated with the arrival of the Kumbh. Together, these three initiatives will help present the religious significance, cultural richness and traditions of the festival to a broader audience.

The use of modern communication platforms alongside the Kumbh’s traditional spiritual grandeur will help take its message to national and international audiences. These initiatives will also help showcase Haridwar’s religious identity and the unique significance of the Kumbh to devotees across India and around the world.
