Mumbai, October 2026: The September 2026 issue of Aapla Mantralaya, the house journal published by the Directorate General of Information and Public Relations (DGIPR), Government of Maharashtra, was released by Minister of State for School Education and guest editor Dr Pankaj Bhoyar.
Director (Information), News and Public Relations, Govind Ahankari; Under Secretary in the Information and Public Relations Department, Ajay Bhosale; In-charge Deputy Director and Senior Assistant Director (Publications), Jagdish More; and Divisional Liaison Officer Nilesh Tayde were present on the occasion.
The latest issue of Aapla Mantralaya features innovative initiatives in school education, the ‘Chief Minister’s Student Science Tour’, students’ achievements at science exhibitions, educational collaboration associated with the University of Cambridge, and the ‘Climate Quest’ initiative.
Articles on technology cover topics such as artificial intelligence on smartphones and digital detox.
The issue also includes literary and cultural articles such as ‘Kumarji: An Inner Journey Beyond Melodies’, ‘Infinite Waves in Mandodoh’ and ‘Gamak Ghar’. These articles explore music, family systems and the emotional world of human experiences.
Covering a diverse range of subjects, including information on government schemes, educational innovations, preservation of cultural heritage and the appropriate use of modern technology, the issue aims to familiarise readers with government initiatives and Maharashtra’s social and cultural journey.
The initiative to publish the house journal is intended to provide a platform for officers and employees from various departments of Mantralaya to showcase their creative talents and encourage their artistic and literary pursuits.
