Rajasthan CM Bhajanlal Sharma Reviews 181 Helpline, Ensures Damaged Pipeline Is Repaired Within Hours

Jaipur, October 2026: Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma on Friday inspected the Rajasthan Sampark Helpline 181 and directly interacted with complainants through telephone and video calls, directing officials to resolve their grievances promptly. Following his intervention, a damaged water pipeline in Gangapur City was repaired within a few hours.

Sharma said the swift resolution of public grievances and the timely delivery of relief to every citizen were the state government’s highest priorities. He said the government was working continuously to ensure administrative accountability and transparency, with the aim of making Rajasthan Sampark Helpline 181 an effective platform for addressing citizens’ complaints within a stipulated timeframe.

During his inspection at the Government Secretariat in Jaipur, the Chief Minister personally spoke to complainants, heard their concerns and instructed the officials concerned to take immediate action.

He spoke to Vikas Kumar from Gangapur City about a damaged pipeline in his locality. After listening to the complaint, Sharma assured him of an early resolution and directed the authorities to act without delay. Following the instructions, the local administration repaired the damaged pipeline within a few hours.

The Chief Minister also reviewed the functioning of the next-generation Rajasthan Sampark system and examined the capabilities of its artificial intelligence-based tool, ‘Sampark GPT’.

He received a detailed briefing on the complaint-analysis process and the system’s ability to identify patterns and assess grievances. Sharma stressed that departments should use technology-driven analysis to identify the root causes of public complaints and develop effective solutions.

He said such analysis would help the government identify recurring problems, take targeted corrective measures and provide relief to citizens more efficiently.

During the inspection, Sharma also interacted through video calls with Anish from Jhalawar and Rinku Kumar from Sawai Madhopur. Officials from the departments concerned were present on the calls. The Chief Minister listened to the complainants’ grievances and instructed the respective officials to address them immediately.

He emphasised that officials should directly hear citizens’ concerns and make the grievance-redressal process more effective and responsive.

Night-time complaints to be treated as emergencies

Sharma directed officials to treat complaints received during the night as emergency cases and coordinate with the relevant authorities to ensure their immediate resolution.

He also called for effective department-wise monitoring of grievances received through Rajasthan Sampark and asked officials to fix responsibility for delays or failures in resolving complaints.

The Chief Minister said complaint data should be analysed to identify the major problems faced by citizens and areas where people repeatedly encounter difficulties. Departments must assess these issues and work towards permanent solutions, he said, adding that grievance redressal should not be limited to resolving individual cases but should also prevent similar complaints from recurring.

Focus on monitoring and service quality

During the inspection, Sharma reviewed the Quality Performance Dashboard and sought details about the helpline centre’s operations, complaint registration, follow-up procedures and monitoring mechanisms.

He instructed officials to regularly obtain feedback from helpline personnel and encourage employees who demonstrate good performance.

The Chief Minister said timely grievance redressal, clear accountability and the effective use of technology were essential to improving public service delivery. He stressed that Rajasthan Sampark Helpline 181 should function as a reliable mechanism through which citizens could register complaints and receive prompt, time-bound assistance.
