Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav interacted with a 16-member delegation of social media influencers from Bihar at the VVIP Guest House on Dewas Road in Ujjain on Sunday. Chief Minister Dr Yadav engaged the young influencers on various aspects of Ujjain’s ancient historical and cultural heritage, asked those questions, and shared information about key historical facts and sites.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav provided the delegation with detailed information about the Veer Bharat Museum and Snake Park under construction in Ujjain, Mahakal Lok and various development works being undertaken for Simhastha 2028. He said the Veer Bharat Museum would let visitors explore and understand the inspiring stories of India's great heroes, from ancient times to modern India. The museum will present India’s rich historical traditions, the Vedic period, the eras of the Ramayana and Mahabharata, the period of Samrat Vikramaditya, the freedom struggle and the contributions of national heroes. This will provide the younger generation an opportunity to learn about India’s glorious history and the contributions of great personalities to nation-building.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said, providing information about the Snake Park under construction in Ujjain, that Ujjain was being developed with the vision of becoming a “City of Snake Friends”. The Snake Park would not only serve as a tourism attraction but also play an important role in promoting awareness about snake conservation, their ecological significance and their role in maintaining environmental balance.He said every living species has an important role in protecting nature and biodiversity. It was equally important to dispel misconceptions about snakes and spread awareness among the public about their conservation and contribution to the environment.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav also apprised the young social media influencers from Bihar of Ujjain’s historical and spiritual significance as well as Shri Mahakal Lok. He familiarised them with the city’s ancient traditions, religious and cultural heritage, and its distinctive identity as the city of Lord Mahakal.
During their visit to Ujjain, the 16-member social media influencer delegation from Bihar will also learn about various development works being undertaken in the city as part of preparations for the upcoming Simhastha Mahaparv-2028. The delegation will visit Ujjain’s major religious, historical and tourist destinations, providing its members an opportunity to gain first-hand insight into the city’s ongoing development works, preparations for Simhastha and its rich cultural heritage. During their interaction with Chief Minister Dr. Yadav, the young influencers showed keen interest in various aspects of Ujjain’s history, religious significance, tourism development and preparations for the upcoming Simhastha Mahaparv.
