Kolkata; October 2026: During the forthcoming Durga Puja - Metro Railway, Kolkata has planned to operate special Metro services in Blue Line, Green Line, Purple Line, Yellow Line and Orange Line.

As there will be large number of services for commuters at an interval of 06-minute in Blue Line and Green Line during the peak hours, the commuters are requested not to overcrowd the train or not try to block the doors.
