Raipur, October 2026: Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai has approved financial assistance of Rs 18 lakh for the treatment of 10-year-old Hrithik Yadav, a resident of Jashpur district who is battling a serious illness. The assistance has been sanctioned under the Chief Minister’s Special Health Assistance Scheme to facilitate his bone marrow transplant and other necessary medical treatment in Bengaluru, Karnataka.
The approval is expected to provide significant relief to Hrithik’s family, which was struggling to meet the high cost of treatment. The financial support has renewed the family’s hope of securing better medical care for the child.
Hrithik, son of Meghnath Yadav, requires a bone marrow transplant as advised by his doctors. Given the substantial expenses involved in the procedure, his family faced financial difficulties and approached the Chief Minister’s Camp Office in Bagiya, Jashpur, seeking assistance for his treatment.

Bone marrow transplant to be performed in Bengaluru
Hrithik will undergo treatment at Mazumdar Shaw Medical Center in Bengaluru. The proposed treatment includes medical procedures listed as OT-U100, Allogenic BMT and BMT Haplo-identical.
