Appointment letters handed over to 1,375 Gram Panchayat Officers at Indira Gandhi Pratishthan in Lucknow
Lucknow, September 2026 : Appointment letters were distributed to 1,375 candidates selected by the Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission. The CM personally handed over appointment letters to 11 Gram Panchayat Officers from the stage. At the program, held on Monday at Indira Gandhi Pratishthan in Lucknow in the presence of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, the candidates also shared their experiences after receiving their appointment letters.
Several candidates were seen getting emotional. They thanked the Chief Minister for transparency and impartiality in the selection process.
Shruti Srivastava from Lucknow thanked the Chief Minister and said the fair examination process allowed her to receive an appointment letter. She is the first woman in her in-laws’ family to join government service. She is a daughter of Uttar Pradesh and has now received an opportunity to serve the state. During her pregnancy, she worried about her child’s future, but receiving the appointment letter brought her happiness and gave her hope for a bright future for her child.
Beauty Shahi from Gorakhpur said that her family’s financial condition is not very good. In such a situation, this job will help her serve the public and improve her family’s circumstances. She expressed her gratitude to the Chief Minister and her family.
Meanwhile, Aditya Singh, a resident of Kushinagar, said that his father is a farmer. He and his family are extremely happy to have received an opportunity to serve the state. Describing the recruitment process as transparent and impartial, Aditya thanked the Chief Minister.
