Three Suspects Held at Kota Railway Station in Tiger Shroff Shooting Case

Kota, October 2026 : Three alleged shooters suspected of being involved in the firing incident targeting Bollywood actor Tiger Shroff have been detained at Rajasthan’s Kota railway station while travelling by train, sources said on Monday.

The suspects were apprehended during a joint operation by the Rajasthan Anti-Gangster Task Force (AGTF) and Kota City Police. They are currently being interrogated at Kota City Police Station to establish their alleged roles in the attack.

Sources said one of the detained individuals is a juvenile. Another suspect has been identified as Hritik Kumar, alias Roshan, 22, a native of Piprai village in Bihar’s Begusarai district. He is reportedly living near Urdu School in Mumbai’s Andheri West and working as a bike rider. The third suspect has been identified as Rehan, 18, a resident of Sonipat in Haryana.

Further details about the suspects and their alleged involvement are expected to emerge as the investigation progresses.

The development follows the registration of a case by Mumbai’s Juhu Police against three unidentified persons in connection with the shooting incident. Tiger Shroff’s caretaker and driver, Firdos Ibrahim Baloch, sustained injuries in the firing.

According to the police complaint, the incident occurred at around 7 p.m. on October 18, 2026, when Shroff was returning by car after playing football.

The complaint alleges that as the vehicle exited the school grounds and turned left, two unidentified men approached it and opened fire with pistols from the front and the left side. The assailants subsequently fled the scene.

Baloch was injured in the shooting, while another person in the vicinity was also reportedly hit by a bullet, police said.

The FIR has been registered under Sections 109(1) and 3(5) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), along with relevant provisions of the Arms Act.

Investigators are working to identify all those allegedly involved in the attack, determine their respective roles and establish the circumstances surrounding the firing.

The detention of the three suspects in Kota marks a significant development in the investigation. However, their alleged involvement remains subject to police inquiry.

Interrogation of the detained individuals is continuing at Kota City Police Station. Police have not yet disclosed further details about the operation or indicated whether additional arrests are expected.
