BJP Releases ‘Modi Kahin Nahi Jaayega’ Song as Social Media War With Congress Intensifies

New Delhi, October 2026 : The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has intensified its social media campaign against Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge over his controversial ‘baap’ remark targeting Prime Minister Narendra Modi, releasing a song asserting that the prime minister is not going anywhere and enjoys the support of the people.

BJP leaders, Union ministers and party office-bearers shared the music video across social media platforms, including X and Instagram. The song features several images of Modi and takes aim at the Congress over its remarks against the prime minister.

BJP leaders Sambit Patra and Piyush Goyal, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav, Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta and Union Minister for Women and Child Development Annapurna Devi were among those who shared the video on their respective X accounts.

The song repeatedly uses the phrase “Modi kahin nahi jaayega” (Modi is not going anywhere), portraying the prime minister as a leader backed by public support.

“...aankhein jhuka lo, kaan khol ke sun lo, Modi kahin nahi jaayega,” the lyrics say, challenging the opposition to listen to the BJP’s message.

Taking a swipe at opposition parties, the song declares, “Tumne socha jhuka doge, par sher nahi jhukta, janta ka jo saath hai, woh kabhi nahi rukta,” suggesting that a leader supported by the people cannot be made to bow.

It also accuses the opposition of relying on abusive language while praising Modi’s work and development agenda. Another line says, “Tum gaali pe gaali do, woh kaam dikhata hai, sapno ke Bharat ko woh aage badhata hai.”

The BJP’s campaign comes amid an escalating online confrontation with the Congress, with both parties circulating videos, graphics and AI-generated content to target their political opponents.

Kharge’s remark triggers political row

The controversy erupted after Kharge made the remark “Modi ka baap bhi jayega” during an event in Patna on Sunday. He was responding to an audience member who had said that the prime minister would not go anywhere.

Kharge was speaking at a programme marking the 139th birth anniversary of Shrikrishna Singh, Bihar’s first chief minister. His comments triggered criticism from the BJP and prompted a series of responses from both parties on social media.

The Congress, meanwhile, has continued to target the prime minister and other constitutional authorities over allegations of electoral irregularities.

In a video shared on its official social media account, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi accused Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah and Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar of being involved in alleged “vote chori”. Gandhi claimed that the party had presented evidence and asserted that those responsible would eventually be held accountable.

In another post, the Congress shared a clip of Kharge accusing the governments in West Bengal, Haryana, Bihar and Maharashtra of electoral theft. He said the party would expose those responsible and seek accountability, including legal action.

Opposition plans November 1 rally

The political exchange comes ahead of the INDIA bloc’s proposed ‘Dilli Chalo’ march to Ramlila Maidan on November 1. The opposition alliance has described the rally as its biggest mobilisation against alleged electoral irregularities under the banner of “vote chori”.

The protest forms part of the opposition’s broader campaign against the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls and the Election Commission.

With both the BJP and Congress stepping up their digital campaigns, the dispute over Kharge’s remarks has developed into a wider political confrontation involving allegations of electoral malpractice, public accountability and competing claims of political legitimacy.
