Oct 2026 : Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami participated on Saturday in a multipurpose camp organised under the Seva Sankalp Campaign at Kshatriya Chetna Manch on Tapovan Road in Dehradun. On the occasion, the Chief Minister inspected stalls set up by various government departments. He also distributed agricultural equipment, mushroom mini-kits, and Mahalakshmi and Kishori kits provided by the Women and Child Development Department to beneficiaries.
The Chief Minister directed officials to ensure that public grievances received at the camps are resolved within a stipulated time frame and given priority. Where a complaint requires additional time to resolve, the complainant must be clearly informed about the process and the expected time involved. He said it was the responsibility of officials to ensure that members of the public do not have to make repeated visits to government offices to get their work done.
Dhami said the Seva Sankalp Campaign had been underway in the state since September 17, the birth anniversary of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Under the Prime Minister’s leadership, India has achieved several new milestones at the global level across various sectors. The country is rapidly moving towards the goal of a developed India while setting new benchmarks in development. In keeping with this vision, the state government is using the Seva Sankalp Campaign to promote public service and public participation while ensuring the resolution of people’s grievances.
The Chief Minister said that more than 6.5 lakh people had participated in the two phases of the ‘Jan-Jan Ki Sarkar, Jan-Jan Ke Dwar’ campaign previously conducted by the state government. Through the initiative, a large number of public grievances were resolved, while eligible citizens were provided benefits under various government welfare schemes.
He said the government was committed to ensuring that the administration reached people directly, understood their problems and took the necessary steps to address them.
Dhami emphasised that the objective of multipurpose camps was not merely to set up stalls representing different departments, but to deliver government schemes, services and facilities directly to the public. Officials should listen to people’s problems at these camps and take necessary action on the spot wherever possible.
He said the government’s priority was to ensure that the benefits of welfare schemes reached the last person in society. No eligible beneficiary should be deprived of assistance because of a lack of information or procedural complexities.
The Chief Minister said the double-engine government was continuously working to make public services simpler, more accessible and more effective. It was striving to ensure that people did not face unnecessary difficulties while obtaining certificates, pensions, ration cards, healthcare facilities and other government services.
Special attention was being given to ensuring that senior citizens, women and residents of remote areas could access essential services at the local level.
Addressing officials, Dhami said resolving public grievances was not a mere formality but an important responsibility associated with public service. Every complaint must be taken seriously and handled with sensitivity to ensure its resolution. He added that such camps played a significant role in reducing the distance between the government and the public and strengthening communication between them.
The Chief Minister said healthcare services were also receiving special attention under the Seva Sankalp Campaign. Efforts were being made to provide health check-ups and medical consultations through these camps so that diseases could be detected early and those in need could receive appropriate treatment.
He said the state government was committed to extending healthcare benefits to eligible people through schemes such as Ayushman Bharat and Atal Ayushman Uttarakhand.

He also called upon public representatives, officials and employees to work with a spirit of public service to ensure the success of these camps.
