Lucknow, October 2026 : Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that the effectiveness of administration is demonstrated by the positive changes it brings to people’s lives.
The Chief Minister shared a post on his social media account ‘X’ on Friday, extending his best wishes for the Sadhana Series-2026.
Public Servants Are the Most Important Agents of Change: CM
The Chief Minister said public servants are the most important drivers of positive change in people’s lives. An efficient, sensitive and accountable administrative system ensures that the benefits of government schemes reach even the last person in society, thereby translating the commitment to good governance into public welfare.
Pre-2017 Government Affected Uttar Pradesh’s Administrative Work Culture
The Chief Minister said that before 2017, the Uttar Pradesh government’s approach, which he described as being driven by a “regressive mindset”, dynastic politics, appeasement and corruption, had seriously affected the state’s administrative efficiency, effectiveness and work culture.
He added that crime, the influence of mafia elements, policy apathy and a crisis of identity had hindered the state’s immense potential.
Mission Karmayogi Giving New Direction to Administrative Work Culture
The Chief Minister said that under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the double-engine government was giving a new direction to the country’s administrative work culture through initiatives such as Mission Karmayogi.
He said that over the past nine-and-a-half years, Uttar Pradesh had undertaken a historic journey, shedding its image as a BIMARU state and transforming itself from a bottleneck state into a breakthrough state.
According to the Chief Minister, Uttar Pradesh is redefining its administrative, economic and institutional structures while setting new benchmarks in development.
Sadhana Series-2026 to Be Inaugurated on Friday
The Chief Minister said the two-day regional Sadhana Series-2026 would be inaugurated in Lucknow on Friday in the presence of Union Minister of State (Independent Charge) Dr Jitendra Singh.
Representatives from eight states and four Union Territories are participating in the programme, which aims to take forward the state's transformative journey and strengthen administrative practices.
Karmayogi Uttar Pradesh Committed to Building a Developed India
The Chief Minister said that, in keeping with the principle of “Minimum Government, Maximum Governance,” Karmayogi Uttar Pradesh is fully committed to realising the vision of Antyodaya—ensuring the welfare and upliftment of the last person in society—and playing a leading role in building a Viksit Bharat (Developed India).
He extended his best wishes to all participants for the successful conduct of the Sadhana Series-2026.
