Jaipur, October 2026: Rajasthan Legislative Assembly Speaker Vasudev Devnani on Thursday launched the mobile application of the Rajasthan Legislative Assembly Secretariat Employees’ Savings and Credit Cooperative Society Limited by pressing a button remotely at the Assembly.

Devnani said the Rajasthan Legislative Assembly had emerged as one of the leading legislative assemblies in the country through digitisation and innovation.

On the occasion, he honoured three employees who are retiring this month. He said that since he assumed office as Speaker, a total of 55 officers and employees of the Assembly had retired.

He said he had consistently sought to ensure that employees received promotions on time. Accordingly, 125 officers and employees of the Legislative Assembly Secretariat had been promoted in a timely manner during his tenure.

Devnani added that the Assembly Secretariat was also making efforts to fill vacancies arising from retirements.

Digitisation of Employees’ Cooperative Society Accounts

The Speaker said everyone must discharge their responsibilities with dedication and a strong sense of duty to preserve the dignity of the Legislative Assembly.

He noted that digitisation work was progressing continuously in the Rajasthan Legislative Assembly. The accounts and financial records of the cooperative society for Assembly employees had also been digitised.

Emphasising the Assembly’s continued focus on innovation, he said the Rajasthan Legislative Assembly was among the leading legislative institutions in the country.
