Seva Setu Camp Organised in Jankipuram, Information Provided on Various Government Schemes

Lucknow, Sept 2026 : A Seva Setu camp was organised on Wednesday at the newly constructed community centre in Jankipuram under the “Sewa Sankalp Abhiyan” and the “Sarkar Aapke Dwar” programme. Information about various government welfare schemes was provided to local residents, while eligible beneficiaries were also registered at the camp.

The camp was inaugurated by former minister and Vidhan Parishad member Dr Mahendra Singh by lighting the ceremonial lamp. He inspected the stalls set up by different departments and interacted with officials, employees and local residents to understand their problems and the arrangements made for resolving them.

Under the One District One Product (ODOP) initiative, cheques amounting to Rs 32 lakh were distributed as loans to residents from different sections for chikankari-related work. Under the Chief Minister Yuva Swarozgar Yojana, a cheque of Rs 4,37,500 was provided to a Jankipuram resident for starting a dairy business.

The chief guest, BJP Mahanagar president Anand Dwivedi, said Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s 25 years of public service across various positions were being commemorated through a month-long “Seva Sankalp Abhiyan” on the occasion of his birthday. Various programmes are being organised during the Seva Month from September 17 to October 17.

He said public welfare programmes would be organised under the spirit of “Sarkar Aapke Dwar” so that the benefits of government schemes could reach eligible beneficiaries. He said the objective was to ensure that the benefits of various government schemes reached the people.

He said Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision was that “service is the organisation” and, with this spirit, party leaders and workers would work among the people for an entire month. He said Seva Setu camps would be organised in every ward of the constituency.

Regional MLA Dr Neeraj Bora said people were being provided information about various government schemes at the Seva Setu camp and eligible beneficiaries were being registered so that they could receive the benefits of these schemes.

Officials and employees from various departments remained present at the stalls and addressed the problems and requirements of visitors. The camp featured information and assistance related to the Municipal Corporation, Jal Kal, Seva Yojana, Ayushman Card, free healthcare services, PM Jan Arogya and Seva hospitals, pensions, ration cards, the Electricity Department, Divyangjan Department, voter cards, Industries Department, old-age pension, Nirashrit Mahila Pension, Chief Minister Bal Seva Yojana and Chief Minister Kanya Sumangala Yojana, among other schemes.

The camp also included stalls of various departments and agencies providing information and assistance related to government welfare schemes.

Among those present were Uttar Pradesh Cooperative Gramya Vikas Bank Chairman, Seva Setu Camp Lucknow Mahanagar coordinator Vivek Singh Tomar, Nagar Mahanagar District president Rinku Sonkar, Mahanagar Vice-President Saurabh Valmiki, ward representative Saurabh Tiwari, camp coordinator Rajkumari Maurya Pandey (Jankipuram Second Ward), Kripa Shankar Mishra, Sanjay Tiwari, Mayank Mishra, Rashi Tomer, Ramprakash Gupta, Sushil Singh, Savera Singh, Rakesh Singh, Rakesh Pandey, Kailash Yadav, Arvind Rajput, Sagar Saxena, Sanni Dixit, Ashutosh Singh, Yamanuj Tiwari, Divyang Shukla and Alok Singh, along with party workers and a large number of local residents.
