Patna, October 2026: Bihar Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary on Tuesday felicitated Bobby Kumar, who created history by winning a gold medal in the men’s kabaddi team event at the Asian Games 2026.
At a programme held at the ‘Sankalp’ meeting hall at the Lok Sevak Residence, the Chief Minister honoured Bobby Kumar by presenting him with an angavastram in recognition of his outstanding achievement.
Choudhary congratulated the athlete and said that Bobby Kumar had enhanced not only the pride of Bihar but also the honour of the entire country through his performance at the Asian Games.
The Chief Minister extended his heartfelt congratulations to Bobby Kumar for his achievement and wished him a bright and successful future.
The felicitation programme was attended by Industry and Sports Minister Shreya Singh, along with members of Bobby Kumar’s family.
