Ranchi, October 2026: Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren met a joint delegation of the Punjabi Hindu Biradari (Dussehra Committee-2026), Ranchi, and the Shri Durga Puja and Ravan Dahan Committee, Argora, at the Chief Minister’s residential office on Kanke Road in Ranchi.
During the meeting, the delegation extended a cordial invitation to Chief Minister Soren to attend the Ravan Dahan programmes to be organised on October 20 at Morabadi Maidan and Argora Manda Maidan. The delegation invited the Chief Minister to participate in the programmes as the chief guest along with his family.
Soren interacted with the members of the delegation and sought detailed information about the preparations for the upcoming Ravan Dahan events. He also offered several important suggestions regarding the arrangements for the programmes.
The Chief Minister discussed various aspects of the preparations with the organisers and emphasised the need for proper arrangements to ensure the smooth conduct of the events.

The delegation from the Punjabi Hindu Biradari (Dussehra Committee-2026), Ranchi, was led by its president Kunal Ajmani. Other members included Rajesh Mehra, Saurabh Khanna, Sunil Kalra, Happy Chinger, Rahul Makan, Rakesh Giridhar and Randeep Anand.
The delegation from the Shri Durga Puja and Ravan Dahan Committee, Argora, was led by its president Prakash Sahu. Other members included Jai Prasad Sahu, Virendra Prasad Sahu, Manueshwar Sahu, Subhash Prasad Sahu, Yuvraj Sahu and Sumit Sahu.
The delegation thanked the Chief Minister for meeting them and extended the invitation for the annual Dussehra celebrations.
