Wedding scheduled for December; Arundhati also calls the Chief Minister’s message of good wishes priceless
Lucknow, October 2026 : A lesson from Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath transformed the way Arundhati from Kerala viewed life. Once believing that tears were a sign of weakness, she learnt from a video of Yogi Adityanath during her childhood that being emotional is not a weakness, but the courage to acceptg one's feelings. Even years later, this lesson continues to shape her life.
Now, as Arundhati prepares to begin a new chapter of her life through marriage, she has sent a two-page, handwritten letter to her inspiration, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, inviting him to attend her wedding and bless the newlyweds.
The letter carries a wedding invitation, but more than that, it reflects her deep sense of gratitude towards the Chief Minister.
In her letter to CM Yogi, Arundhati has shared her state of mind during childhood, when she would become emotional and cry over small things, only to regard it as her own weakness. Some of her friends would tell her that controlling emotions was necessary to become strong. Gradually, she too began to wonder whether a person who cried easily could ever be strong and whether expressing one's emotions was something to be embarrassed about.
Around this time, her cousin showed her a video of Yogi Adityanath, in which he appeared deeply emotional. Her cousin explained that she should aspire to be like CM Yogi, someone who could be deeply emotional and yet immensely strong.
The video gave Arundhati a new perspective and helped her understand that tears are not proof of a person's weakness. This experience played a crucial role in resolving the inner conflict she had been struggling with. She began to view the emotional sensitivity she had once considered a shortcoming as a natural expression of human compassion.
For Arundhati, the significance of this experience extended far beyond that moment. She realised that being strong does not mean hiding one's emotions in every situation. Rather, it means retaining faith in oneself while confronting difficulties.
Rising again after a setback, moving forward amid challenges and fulfilling one's responsibilities are the true expressions of courage.
In her letter, Arundhati writes, “Whenever I doubt myself, you inspire me to move forward.”
Her respect for Yogi Adityanath is also rooted in his public life. To her, his journey conveys a message of hard work, determination and sustained effort. Thus, a lesson she learnt from a video during childhood became a foundation of self-confidence that she continues to draw upon in her life.
Arundhati and Rahul are scheduled to get married on December 20, 2026, at the Green Park Convention Centre in Aluva, Kerala. On this special occasion, Arundhati has invited Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath to attend the ceremony.
In her letter, she writes, “To me, you are much more than a leader. I have always looked up to you as an elder brother, whose journey has given me courage and inspiration.”
Acknowledging the Chief Minister's busy schedule, Arundhati has also written that if he is unable to attend the ceremony in person, even a message conveying his best wishes and blessings would be invaluable to her.
She has expressed her gratitude to CM Yogi for teaching her, through a single lesson, to accept her emotions rather than regard them as a weakness.
