Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav announced a major initiative for the state's industrial and entrepreneurial sectors on Sunday, marking the 71st Madhya Pradesh Foundation Day. He said that a new MSME Industrial Development Company (MSME-IDC) would be established to cater exclusively to the needs of micro, small and medium enterprises in Madhya Pradesh.

The new company will play a significant role in providing infrastructure, land and other essential industrial facilities across all regions of the state, ensuring balanced industrial development. Just as the Madhya Pradesh Industrial Development Corporation facilitates large-scale industries involving investments of over ₹500 crore, the proposed company will be entirely dedicated to promoting and developing the MSME sector. It will be a government company wholly owned by the state government.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav further announced that private investors would also be permitted to develop industrial parks, for which the government would provide a subsidy of ₹50 lakh per hectare. He added that land for MSME units would be made available in all districts of the state within two months. These initiatives are expected to give fresh momentum to industrial development and investment across Madhya Pradesh.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav transferred incentives through a single-click mechanism from his residence to more than 900 MSME units across the state, amounting to over ₹450 crore. Incentives worth ₹47.80 lakh were also transferred to more than 120 startups.
