Lucknow, October 2026 : Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said on Tuesday that the state’s youth are transforming possibilities into achievements through their talent and hard work.
In a post on social media platform X, the Chief Minister highlighted the change in the working culture of the double-engine government since 2017 and spoke about the emerging role of the state’s youth in employment generation.
New Thinking in Innovation, Courage in Entrepreneurship
The Chief Minister wrote that whether it is adopting new approaches to innovation, demonstrating the courage to pursue entrepreneurship or setting new benchmarks of excellence across different sectors, Uttar Pradesh’s youth are turning possibilities into achievements through their talent and hard work.
To recognise the capabilities, creativity and accomplishments of this energetic young generation, he said he would participate in the “TOI Youth Icons Summit and Awards 2026” being held in Lucknow.
Before 2017, Disorder Had Darkened the Future of Youth
Yogi Adityanath said that before 2017, talented young people in Uttar Pradesh were compelled to migrate in search of opportunities.
Corruption in recruitment, nepotism and administrative disorder had cast a shadow over their future, he said. Although young people possessed talent, they did not receive the opportunities and encouragement needed to progress.
Double-Engine Government Creates New Opportunities for Youth
The Chief Minister said the double-engine government changed this work culture after 2017.
Under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the government has created new avenues for young people by promoting transparent recruitment, skill development, startups and entrepreneurship, he said.
Today, Uttar Pradesh’s youth are not merely aspiring for jobs but are also establishing a new identity as employment generators, the Chief Minister added.
He said the state’s young people are playing a leading role in translating the vision of “Developed Uttar Pradesh – Developed India” into reality.
