Nitin Nabin assigns new responsibilities to national and state organisational functionaries, with several key states getting new leadership
New Delhi, Sept 2026 : Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) national president Nitin Nabin on Thursday announced 24 organisational appointments across several states and regions, assigning responsibilities as National Joint General Secretaries (Organisation), State General Secretaries (Organisation), State Joint General Secretaries (Organisation) and Sangathaks.
The appointments, announced through the party's Central Office, take effect immediately. The move comes a day after the BJP announced changes in state in-charge and co-in-charge responsibilities as part of its wider organisational exercise.

At the national level, Shivprakash has been assigned organisational responsibilities for Andhra Pradesh, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and Goa, with Mumbai as his centre. Saudan Singh will oversee Bihar, Jharkhand, Odisha and West Bengal from Bhubaneswar.
In Maharashtra, Ajay Jamwal has been appointed State General Secretary (Organisation), while Satish Dhond will serve as State Joint General Secretary (Organisation) and handle Janjati Sampark responsibilities across Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan and Maharashtra.
Madhukar has been assigned organisational responsibility for Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, with Hyderabad as his centre. Dashrath will serve as State Joint General Secretary (Organisation) for Telangana from Warangal.
Several other states have also received new organisational assignments. Ravindra Raju will handle Assam and Tripura besides office construction, while Bhikhubhai Dalsaniya and Pawan Sai have been assigned Bihar and Jharkhand respectively.
In northern India, Siddharthan will handle Himachal Pradesh, Phanindranath Sharma Uttarakhand, and Pawan Rana Delhi and Haryana. Dharampal has been assigned Uttar Pradesh, while Mantri Srinivasulu will oversee Punjab and Chandigarh.
Karmveer will handle Chhattisgarh, Chandrashekhar Madhya Pradesh, Manas Mohanty Odisha and Amitabh Chakraborty West Bengal. Ratnakar has been given Gujarat and Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu, while Arun Binnadi will serve as State Joint General Secretary (Organisation) for Gujarat.
The party has also appointed V. Satish as Sangathak for the SC and ST Morchas and Parliamentary Office, with Delhi as his centre. Nagendra has been given responsibility for Varishth Karyakarta Sampark.
Abhay Giri has been appointed Sangathak for Braj Kshetra, based in Agra, while Ananta Narayan Mishra will handle Bhagalpur, Purnia and Kosi Kshetra from Purnia.
The circular announcing the appointments was issued by Tarun Chugh, BJP Rajya Sabha MP and national headquarters in-charge, and sent to state presidents and state general secretaries for information and necessary action.
