Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav participated in AIM Congress-2026 held at the World Trade Centre in Dubai during his visit to the UAE. On the occasion, he held a high-level bilateral meeting with H.E. Rustam Minnikhanov, Rais (Head) of the Republic of Tatarstan, Russian Federation. The meeting focused on deepening trade and investment cooperation between Madhya Pradesh and Tatarstan, identifying sector-specific strategic partnerships and ensuring Tatarstan’s active participation in the upcoming Global Investors Summit-2027 (GIS).
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav apprised H.E. Rustam Minnikhanov of Madhya Pradesh’s strong industrial capabilities and investor-friendly environment and formally invited him to participate in the upcoming Global
Investors Summit-2027. The Head of Tatarstan welcomed the invitation and assured that he would participate in the summit with a strong investor delegation and work towards advancing concrete investment opportunities in the state.The two sides held detailed discussions on cooperation in advanced manufacturing, petrochemicals, food processing, engineering, logistics, skill development, agriculture and innovation-driven modern technologies. Amid growing economic relations between India and Tatarstan, the two sides emphasised the need to develop long-term B2B and G2G partnerships between Tatarstan and Madhya Pradesh.
Tatarstan also invited Chief Minister Dr. Yadav, members of his Council of Ministers and the state’s business delegation to participate in the “TIME: Russia–India” Forum and the accompanying exhibition. The two sides also agreed to organise bilateral business missions, translate potential joint projects into concrete initiatives and designate authorised nodal officers for swift coordination.

Invites UAE Investors to Invest in MP
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav held a high-level one-on-one meeting with H.E. Dr. Thani bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi, UAE Minister of State for Foreign Trade. The meeting focused on accelerating non-oil trade, advanced technologies, resilient supply chains and cross-border investment under the India-UAE Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA).
MP Presented as Preferred Investment Destination for UAE Investors
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav highlighted Madhya Pradesh’s investment opportunities and the features that make it an ideal investment destination, including its strategic central location, competitive costs, availability of industrial land and established infrastructure. He said that Madhya Pradesh provides direct and seamless access to major markets across the country. The Chief Minister highlighted the state government’s industry-friendly policies and single-window facilitation system and assured UAE investors of timely support at every level.
Call for Partnership in Priority Sectors and Food Processing
The meeting covered various investment opportunities in Madhya Pradesh, particularly in food processing, fisheries, renewable energy and energy storage, pharmaceuticals, electric vehicles (EVs), smart manufacturing, logistics, tourism and healthcare services. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav invited active participation from the UAE in developing food parks, fisheries and aquaculture, cold-chain infrastructure, green energy and export platforms.
Invitation Extended for Global Investors Summit
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav formally invited H.E. Dr. Thani bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi to participate in the upcoming Global Investors Summit-2027 to be held in Madhya Pradesh. Accepting the invitation, the UAE Minister of State for Foreign Trade assured that he would participate along with a high-level delegation of leading UAE investors.
Next Step: Review in Three Months and Appointment of Nodal Officers
To translate bilateral relations and industrial partnerships into concrete outcomes, the two sides agreed to identify 5 to 10 implementation-ready projects and establish a joint review mechanism. As part of this, a ‘Madhya Pradesh-UAE Investment Round Table’ will be organised and dedicated nodal officers will be designated for selected projects. The first progress review will be conducted within three months.
CM Dr. Yadav holds High-Level Meeting with World Bank VP—Discussion on Funding for AI Projects
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav held a meeting with Shri Sangbu Kim, World Bank Vice President for Digital and AI, and his team on the sidelines of AIM Congress-2026. The two sides held detailed discussions on digital and technological expansion in Madhya Pradesh. During the interaction, the World Bank delegation expressed interest in providing funding and financial support for artificial intelligence (AI) and digital governance projects being implemented under the state government’s policies.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav shared information on emerging technologies, innovation and the state’s investment-friendly environment and emphasised the importance of strengthening global partnerships for the state’s development.
CM Dr. Yadav Meets UAE Minister of Economy and Tourism H.E. Abdulla bin Touq Al Marri to Discuss Investment Opportunities
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav met H.E. Abdulla bin Touq Al Marri, UAE Cabinet Member and Minister of Economy and Tourism, at the Ministry of Economy and Tourism in Dubai on Monday. During the meeting, the Chief Minister formally invited H.E. Al Marri to participate in the upcoming Global Investors Summit (GIS) to be held in Madhya Pradesh. Accepting the invitation, H.E. Abdulla bin Touq Al Marri assured that a special investment delegation from Dubai would visit Madhya Pradesh shortly to explore investment opportunities in the hotel and hospitality sector and help translate them into concrete projects.
Detailed Discussions on Investment and Policy Cooperation in Key Sectors
During the high-level discussions, the two sides deliberated extensively on partnerships in key sectors including mining, textiles, forestry and tourism. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav apprised H.E. Al Marri of the Madhya Pradesh government’s transparent policies, land ownership regulations, labour reforms and protection mechanisms available to foreign investors. He also shared the positive experiences of UAE companies already operating in the state and reiterated the government’s commitment to creating a favourable industrial environment for new investors.Chief Minister Dr. Yadav highlighted key provisions of the state’s new aviation policy. H.E. Abdulla bin Touq Al Marri, who also serves as Chairman of the UAE General Civil Aviation Authority, assured full cooperation in expanding aviation operations between Madhya Pradesh and the UAE. This initiative is expected to significantly boost tourism, cargo movement and business travel between the two regions.
Hatta Economic Zone and Dubai Future Foundation Models Discussed
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav sought detailed information on the UAE’s Hatta Economic Zone Development Project and its model for developing specialised industrial parks. He said that Madhya Pradesh is also working to develop modern industrial clusters and special economic zones. In addition, H.E. Al Marri, in his capacity as CEO of the Dubai Future Foundation, assured technical and strategic cooperation to explore the possibility of establishing a similar foundation focused on innovation and future-oriented initiatives in Madhya Pradesh.
